Innisfree: Art, Science & Inspiration

Kate Kerin is the Landscape Curator at Innisfree Garden, the powerful icon of mid-twentieth century design in Millbrook, New York, where sweeping landscapes merge the essence of Modernist and Romantic ideas with traditional Chinese and Japanese garden design principles, resulting is a distinctly American stroll garden. Kerin is also currently the Director of Recruitment of Open Days for the Garden Conservancy. Her deep belief in the transformative power of landscape is demonstrated through her professional life, including projects such as the Wallace Visitor Center, Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library, Hyde Park: Dutchess Golf & Country Club, Poughkeepsie; and numerous historic estates.
