We are so thankful to all our friends and supporters who have helped us through this difficult time. Happily we have survived through the challenging summer and the garden, meanwhile, has thrived.
As we hunker down with our friends and families for what will most certainly be a unique and unexpectedly different holiday season, we are reminded of what matters most, and at Madoo, the small pleasures in life have definitely come to the forefront. This past season, we had countless new visitors who’ve been “meaning to come to the garden for 20 years,” and with their schedules slowed down and priorities changed, they made the time to wander through our enchanting, inspiring 1.91 acres of magic.
To keep Madoo going, we rely on patrons like you. Your generous, thoughtful donations—large and small—go toward the preservation and enhancement of our landscape and historic buildings.
The following are just some examples of how your gift can help:
$150 pays for weekly lawn mowing
$250 pays 300 Acidanthera bulbs, aka fall-blooming Abyssinian gladiolus (pictured here)
$500 pays for a day of relaying brickwork in the maze garden
$3,000 pays for shearing the privet
Thank you in advance for your enduring support of Madoo, and for making an end-of-year donation. With your help, we are working to make the garden better than ever.
Wishing you and yours a safe and healthy holiday season.
